  • Overview

    SBM Management is looking for a Facilities Coordinator to join their team!  This position supports the Facilities Department in the daily operations of Campus Facilities to provide a safe, clean, efficient, and comfortable environment. Helps plan and manage facility services to cost-effectively support the business at the Site and other locations as assigned.


    • Coordinates preventative maintenance services with UPS, Emergency Power Generator and HVAC.
    • Coordinates and plans emergency preparedness training drills and instruction, implements environmental and facilitates safety programs.
    • Conducts facility inspections and provides follow-up.
    • Provides cafeteria service provider and food/beverage vending machine service provider management, manages recycling/shredding service vendors.
    • Has knowledge of outsourced mail and copy services.
    • Continually evaluates customer satisfaction levels to determine if customer needs are being met, coordinates records retention, vendor/supplier management, provides & helps manage office services including fax/copier lease management, oversees and manages contract security services & security system.
    • Schedules and monitors necessary maintenance programs, repair and replacement of structures, utilities and support systems such as HVAC, ventilation, elevators, fire protection system (FM200, etc.).
    • Coordinates required contacts with federal, state and local authorities as required. Supports compliance with environmental control laws.
    • Selects and monitors contractor performance to meet cost and schedule objectives.
    • Obtains necessary permits/licenses as required to perform facility changes and equipment installations and related activities.
    • Complies with all applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
    • Maintains all required records including maintenance contracts, inspection reports, insurance documents, and permits. Plans and coordinates predictive and preventive maintenance programs.
    • Manages external contractors/vendors involved in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of building systems.
    • Monitors and manages (either directly or in partnership with building landlords) optimum performance of all existing building systems, including HVAC, backup power generators, UPS, electrical, critical equipment monitoring, elevators, security (access controls and camera surveillance), fire protection systems, kitchen equipment, and general building maintenance.
    • Plans, implements, or assists in the implementation of building and building systems modifications and improvements as required.
    • Oversees activities of building contractors, vendors, and suppliers. Responsible for monitoring all contracts for compliance and cost control. Performs quality control inspections to ensure adherence to contract specifications and industry standards
    • Responds in a professional and timely manner to management and internal customer inquiries relating to facilities operations issues. Researches and resolves problems related to facilities operational issues.
    • Manages or assists in managing outsourced building services including (but not limited to) janitorial, grounds maintenance, mail services, walk up copy machine services, food services, document shredding, records retention, garbage collection, security guard services, window cleaning, and furniture repair.
    • Responsible for monitoring of all expenditures for assigned areas of responsibility against budget and reporting variances on a monthly basis.
    • Assists in the preparation of annual Capital and Expense budgets.
    • Some travel may be required.


    • Six months to 1 year related experience and/or training; High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Must have Facilities Management background , GMP background A plus , Janitorial, Supporting all soft services ( security, landscaping/winter services, uniforms, pest control, and trash removal)
    • May required to have a valid driver’s license.

    Available Shift:  Full Time 


    Compensation:  The salary for this position is $75,000 per year
