SBM Management is currently looking to hire an Associate Vice President to join their team!  The Associate Vice President of Operations for a designated territory or an account over 2M+ in revenue and or multiple accounts/programs, activities of SBM operations, customer relations and corporate directives.


  • Focus on building high performing teams and has a succession plan in place to achieve customer advocacy
  • Strong contract management abilities that look for best negotiable positions
  • Governance of account by knowledge of establishing scorecards, with effective internal and external reporting
  • Forging relationships that allow for SBM to have a seat at the executive/customer table
  • Drive to achieve the acceptance that the SBM services we deliver are not a commodity
  • Establish with the client both nationally and internationally that SBM is the best vendor business model
  • Manages account strategy in support of growth efforts and stabilizing bottom line
  • Presentation abilities which goes beyond delivering slides, but provides customers the "Why" it is important
  • Operational strengths and tactical field knowledge
  • Strong ability to multi-task multiple projects at one time
  • Process minded and daily task-to-outcome focused
  • Human Resource minded with daily focuses on development and compliance
  • Administrative and organized in approach to reporting and deadlines
  • Effectively balances office work and time in the field.
  • Leads by example and can SHOW passion for our operational business.
  • Adaptable approach depending who they are speaking with. Example: Tactical discussions vs. Leadership overviews
  • Deliver on operational excellence with and through our managers and associates.
  • Solid financial understanding/knowledge- i.e. Billing, Payroll, Budgets
  • Escalations and effective communication to Vice President of Operations levels
  • Significant travel will be required for this position.

Supervisory Responsibilities                                                    

  • Directly and indirectly supervises management personnel throughout assigned territory and or account(s). 
  • Carries out management and supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, responsibilities include governance, process management, interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Manages budgets, understands cost drivers for human capital and creates solutions to manage productivity.
  • Responsible for all operations activities within assigned territory and must maintain favorable results on all Key Performance Indicators.


  • Five years of college or university program certificate; or over 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. 
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software, as well as effective web utilization through computer and or mobile device.

Available Shift:  Full Time


Compensation:  The salary for this position is $100,000 per year plus a bonus structure
